Weekly Dartscast Episode 297: Ian White, Ricardo Pietreczko, ProTour and Challenge Tour Reviews

Co-hosts Alex Moss and Burton DeWitt are back with a new episode after the latest ProTour weekend.

Alex and Burton look back at Gary Anderson’s Players Championship 8 title win and also pick out players who have impressed them so far this season.

The boys review the latest Challenge Tour weekend and also make their Premier League picks for Newcastle, before answering your questions in the mailbag.

Ian White (19:16) calls in from Germany ahead of his first European Tour appearance of the season this weekend. The three-time European Tour winner reflects on the last three years, dropping out of the world’s top 10, how the pandemic and drop in the number of events had an impact on his ranking, his recent operation, and his hopes of a return to more major events this season.

Ricardo Pietreczko (54:21) also joins us as ahead of his first European Tour event in three years and he looks back at his career so far in darts, representing Germany in his early 20s, winning his tour card at Q-School last year, reaching two semi-finals on the ProTour, and he also explains where the Pikachu nickname came from.
