Weekly Dartscast Episode 296: Matt Porter, Cameron Crabtree, ProTour Review, PDC World Cup Announcement

Co-hosts Alex Moss and Burton DeWitt are back with a new episode after the latest ProTour weekend.

Alex and Burton look back on Players Championship title wins for Ross Smith and Dirk van Duijvenbode, as well as give their thoughts on the PDC’s World Cup announcement last week.

Burton and Alex’s brother also make their Premier League picks for Nottingham, before answering your questions in the mailbag.

PDC chief executive Matt Porter (18:03) stops by to discuss a range of subjects, including the PDC’s changes to the World Cup, the Premier League, and he also answers some of your listener questions.

Challenge Tour title winner Cameron Crabtree (57:35) also calls in to reflect on a meteoric rise from averaging in the 40s during the first lockdown in 2020 to now mixing it with the world’s best on the ProTour. Cameron looks back on his early career so far, hitting a nine darter on the Challenge Tour and winning his first PDC title earlier this year.
