League A round-up

Neeman Hasida has moved to the top of League A in the Darts Atlas Bang Average League after drawing 3-3 with Ryan Holland yesterday.

The two debutants played out an entertaining draw, with Holland (70.04) battling back from 3-0 down to claim a share of the spoils with Hasida (68.80).

The point was enough to take Hasida above defending champion Paddy Burke and into top spot by one point, with Hasida, Burke and Holland the current top three and all yet to taste defeat.

Last week, Hasida (58.37) continued his strong start with a 4-0 win against Adam Pope (55.36), followed by a hard-fought 4-2 win against Craig Smith (59.59).

The opening four legs all went with throw before Hasida (62.68) broke Smith in the fifth leg and then held to take both the points.

Reigning champion Burke (66.56) extended his winning start to his title defence with a 4-1 victory against Bradley Warren (55.70) last week, and will regain top spot from Hasida with a point from his game in hand.

Newcomer Warren bounced back from his defeat to Burke with back-to-back wins to move into fourth spot and the play-off places.

Warren (63.28) whitewashed Michael Kimber (51.91) 4-0, before following that up with another 4-0 triumph, averaging 62.63 to beat Hayden Johnson (52.25).

League B champion Liam Weaver (49.21) got his first win in League A, breaking in the final leg to beat Johnson (46.19) 4-2.

Smith (51.80) also landed a final leg break of throw to take both points against Kimber (43.95), while Pope (54.39) picked up his maiden victory of the season in a 4-1 win over Kimber (51.89).

League B round-up

Alexandru Nicolae Costec remains unbeaten and top of the pile in League B after sharing the points with fellow BADL debutant Dan Marshall.

Costec (50.98), who opened the season with three wins from three games, had to fight back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with Marshall (49.71) to preserve his unbeaten record.

Ryan Nassau has soared up to second place, one point behind Costec, after recording back-to-back wins.

Nassau (48.02) defeated Andy Woods (47.66) 4-1, and then averaged 47.84 in seeing off Dave Cromack (44.65) by the same scoreline.

Joe Lettice and Rob Sullivan, the two other players still unbeaten in League B played out a 3-3 draw.

Sullivan (53.21) twice broke to go 2-1 and 3-2 up, but Lettice (54.54) responded by breaking straight back to ensure both players finished with their unbeaten records in tact.

Elsewhere, Shane Wilkinson (42.09) claimed his first win with a 4-1 victory against Cromack (39.75), and Marshall (49.04) also picked up his first two-point haul by beating Dazz Humphreys (42.95) 4-1.
