The four ladies to have come through today’s World Trophy qualifiers all have a chance to move into the provisional qualifying places for the 2020 BDO World Championship.
Kirsty Hutchinson (15th), Sharon Prins (16th), Corrine Hammond (17th) and Priscilla Steenbergen (20th) all currently sit outside the qualifying places for next year’s flagship event, which is being held at the Indigo at the O2 for the first time.
But the quartet all secured places at this weekend’s World Trophy, in Blackburn, a tournament which offers 49 ranking points to the winner. An extended run for either of the four could propel them into a provisional place.
