Weekly Dartscast Episode 266: Connor Scutt, Robert Owen, Mac Elkin, Simon Hall, World Series Finals Preview

Co-host Alex Moss and special guest co-host Andrew Sinclair are back with a new episode ahead of the World Series of Darts Finals.

First, Alex and Andrew start the show with a look back at last weekend’s German Darts Open, discuss title winner Peter Wright’s form since returning from surgery, and also the continued withdrawals and byes on the European Tour this year.

Then, Mac Elkin (15:21), the boss of The Sportsman Management Company Ltd, stops by to chat about his stable of players, including James Wade, Dimitri Van den Bergh, Jose De Sousa, Glen Durrant, Justin van Tergouw, but not Keegan Brown!

Also, Alex and Andrew turn their attention to the World Series of Darts Finals, pick out their favourite first-round ties and also make a predicition on who will lift the title in Amsterdam on Sunday night.

Plus, Matthew Kiernan (41:06) brings us a selection of interviews from his time at the recent Champion of Champions in Cardiff. Matthew chats to PDC tour card holder and friend of the show Connor Scutt, Robert Owen and the head of marketing for Winmau and Red Dragon, Simon Hall.

Alex and Andrew then wrap up the show with a deep dive into darts away from the PDC, giving their thoughts on the newly-named Modus Super Series, as well as the latest goings on in both the WDF and ADC.
