On this week’s podcast, Alex and Burton start by reviewing the World Grand Prix. Michael van Gerwen retained the double-start title for the first time, beating Dave Chisnall 5-2 in Saturday’s final to win his fifth title in Dublin.
The team also look ahead to the final ProTour double-header of the season in Barnsley this week, as well as the Champions League of Darts in Leicester this weekend.
PDC commentator Dan Dawson calls in to chat to Alex and Burton about the World Grand Prix, as well as a busy schedule this week and a look ahead to the European Tour in 2020 and his recent stint commentating on Chase Tag.
Matthew Edgar, the star of Edgar TV, also joins the team ahead of an important few days in Barnsley, as he looks to secure a second appearance in the PDC World Championship. Edgar also looks back on his career so far, as well as talk us through how Edgar TV started and what his future plans are for the YouTube phenomenon.
