Brisbane Darts Masters winner Damon Heta will lock horns with James Wade again after the draw for the first round of the Melbourne Darts Masters was released this morning.
Heta was a surprise winner of the first of the three World Series events in Australasia last weekend. The DPA Order of Merit leader beat Rob Cross 8-7 in the final to win his first PDC televised title and become only the second regional qualifier to win a World Series event.
The Australian’s route to the title in Brisbane began with a come from behind 6-5 win against James Wade in the first round. And Heta will meet Wade again in the first round this week, as the two have been paired together for the opening day in Melbourne tomorrow.
