The Weekly Dartscast with Adrian Lewis, Andy Fordham, Finder Darts Masters Preview and more

The Weekly Dartscast is back with not one, but TWO former world champions as guests on the show this week! Here’s a rundown of this week’s show:

Co-hosts Alex Moss and Burton DeWitt look ahead to this weekend’s Finder Darts Masters and discuss which seeded players could face an early exit in the men’s draw.

We also ask what will it take to stop Glen Durrant from winning the men’s title for a third straight year, and is there more pressure now on Lorraine Winstanley now that she is ladies’ number one?

We also analyse the draw for the 2018 BDO World Championship and pick out the first-round ties we are most looking forward to, as well as discussing whether we will see a first-time world champion at Lakeside next month.

Former BDO world champion and World Masters winner Andy Fordham calls in to look ahead to playing in the Finder Darts Masters, and also talks about his career in the sport, looking back at his early achievements, how he came back from his health problems, the 2015 Grand Slam, reaching a BDO ranking final this year and what his goals are for the rest of his career.

We talk soft tip and reflect on Team UK’s incredible run to the semi-finals of the World Cup this past weekend, and also discuss whether Paul Lim, who won the individual tournament, could cause an upset at Alexandra Palace this month.

Two-time PDC world champion Adrian Lewis then calls in to chat about his preparations for the upcoming PDC World Championship. “Jackpot” also talks about his year so far, coming back to the circuit after surgery, and also tells us one of his favourite stories while being on the road with the soon-to-be-retiring Phil Taylor.

We wrap up the show with a brief look ahead to Alexandra Palace, discussing how far “Jackpot” can go this year, and also which of the debutants, apart from Rob Cross, can make an impact.
