Co-hosts Alex Moss and Burton DeWitt are back with a new episode after the European Darts Matchplay.
Alex and Burton review the weekend’s action in Trier, focusing on Luke Humphries’ major prospects after winning a fifth career European Tour title, and discuss how Dirk van Duijvenbode will bounce back from missing four match darts to win the title.
The team also give their reaction to the draw for the World Matchplay and pick out their favourite first-round ties, before discussing the announcement from the WDF that the World Masters will not be held in 2023.
Shot Darts managing director Peter McCormick (19:19) calls in to chat about their big signing announcement at the weekend. Peter discusses the signing of world number one Michael Smith to Shot Darts, as well as look back on the 50+ year history of the company and touch on their plans for the future.
Belgium’s rising star Mike De Decker (53:58) also stops by ahead of making his World Matchplay debut next week. One of only two debutants in the field for Blackpool this year, Mike reflects on the last few years, including a late call-up to Ally Pally which saved his tour card, before making strides on the ProTour with quarter-final and semi-final runs, and then a maiden Players Championship final earlier this year.
