The Weekly Dartscast Episode 107 with Michael Smith, Dyson Parody, PDC World Cup Preview, Listener Questions and more

We’re back with episode 107 of the Weekly Dartscast! Co-hosts Alex Moss and Burton DeWitt are joined by special guests Michael Smith and Dyson Parody on this week’s show!

We start the podcast by looking at the big talking points ahead of the 2019 PDC World Cup of Darts, which starts in Germany tonight. Is this the most open PDC World Cup ever? How will new boys Michael Smith and Jermaine Wattimena get on? And which team could be a dark horse?

Next, one of only nine players to have competed in every PDC World Cup so far, Gibraltar’s Dyson Parody calls in to chat about his country’s hopes this year, as well as his own highs and lows in the sport.

Then, Alex and Burton continue their PDC World Cup talk by discussing what changes they would make to the format if they were in charge, and also what their favourite World Cup moments are, both in the PDC’s competition and other sports.

Next, we are joined by our second guest of show, Michael Smith, who calls in to look ahead to his World Cup debut with England, his 2019 campaign so far as well as look back at a tremendous 2018 season.

Finally, we finish up with some of your questions, pick out which first round matches we are most looking forward to and make our predictions for which of the 32 nations will walk away with the trophy on Sunday night.
